Robb Report Names Sarah Larranaga ‘Best Custom Interior’ Winner for SlivAir
The pinnacle of luxury aviation has a new benchmark. In its prestigious 38th annual Best of the Best awards, Robb Report has officially recognized Sarah Larranaga, naming her custom interior for Paris Hilton’s iconic "SlivAir" as the absolute best in aviation. While Sarah executed a flawless, cohesive vision across both the exterior livery and the cabin, it is the interior transformation of the Gulfstream G450 that captured the industry's ultimate honor.
This accolade further solidifies Sarah’s position as the world's top private jet designer, a title earned through a rare combination of bold aesthetic vision and uncompromising engineering precision.
Where High-Profile Branding Meets Technical Precision
Designing an aircraft for a highly visible personal brand requires more than just an eye for luxury. It demands a deep understanding of weight distribution, material certification, and airworthiness regulations. The SlivAir project required translating an ultra-specific, high-glamour design language into a fully certified, high-performance cabin environment.
“Working with Sarah on my jet was like collaborating with a kindred spirit. She just got the vision and elevated it to a whole new level of Sliving. Sarah brought my dream to life in the most iconic way. Every detail in SlivAir reflects her creativity, dedication, and insane eye for design. I’m beyond grateful for her magic.”

As a globally recognized private jet designer, Sarah leveraged her extensive engineering background alongside top-tier industry partners to bring the vision to life. Working in close collaboration with StandardAero as the MRO and Cabin Management Solutions for a custom-built cabin management system with touchscreen controls, Sarah ensured that every custom element passed strict civil aviation certifications.
From the hand-painted pink cloud headliner, “PH” seatbelt buckles, and custom Paris Pink leather finishes to the integrated Starlink high-speed internet and premium ALTO sound system, the build represents a flawless execution under tight timelines. To complete the nose-to-tail transformation, the exterior received a complex five-coat, tri-stage pearl paint job utilizing a bespoke PPG-recognized "Paris Pink" alongside branded entry airstairs that set the tone before passengers even step on board. The result is a masterclass in practical luxury: an interior that serves as a seamless extension of its owner's brand while maintaining absolute operational compliance.
Redefining Bespoke Private Jet Design
The Robb Report recognition highlights a broader shift within the private aviation sector toward meticulous, systems-driven customization. True luxury is not just about the visual layout. It is about how the engineering protects the asset's long-term value, controls operational efficiencies, and enhances the inflight experience.
"Sarah is that rare designer who brings world-class talent, tireless work ethic, and real kindness to every part of the process. She’s warm and collaborative with us but laser-focused and firm with vendors, which, as the one paying the bills, I appreciated immensely. She delivered ahead of schedule, under budget, and the result is not just beautiful, it’s iconic.”
